Our Culture

We like science and humans.

In 1999, our founder and CEO Joni Bradley, PharmD, created JB Ashtin to be a different kind of medical communications agency; one that functions as an ecosystem of people-centric, scientific enthusiasts.

Today, what began as one woman’s freelance career has evolved into a team of people who care passionately about the work we deliver, who we deliver it to, and why we’re here: to make healthcare and our world a better place for all.

There is strength and power in lifting others, not just within the workplace, but also in our communities. Each year, JB Ashtin partners with organizations like the American Cancer Society, Volunteers of America, the American Heart Association, Detroit Remodeled, Adopt-a-Family, and many others to do our part in helping mitigate the burdens of those around us. We believe that action and connections create change, and we strive to live out these beliefs in all we do.

Small company.
Big heart.

Excellence, Respect, Humility, Dedication, Proactivity, Thoughtfulness, and Fun!

We’re pretty serious about core values.
Each piece is deeply embedded into the DNA of our organization,
our leadership, our team members, and the work we deliver.

Rooted in Science. Driven to Inspire.
